Dr. Edward Romano recently had the pleasure of going to the 2014 American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) conference. This year the event, themed “Educate, Inspire, Connect,” was held in Orlando, Florida and celebrated the organization’s 30th anniversary. Everyone from dental assistants, dentists, lab technicians, hygienists, patient coordinators, and general guests were encouraged to attend this renowned educational conference.
He was pleased with the wide range of topics discussed over the five-day event, which included an update on CEREC® technology, dental implants, laser dentistry, and the best options for teeth whitening. Dr. Romano enjoys going to professional conferences because he can easily refresh his knowledge about the state-of-the-art discoveries made in dental technology, procedures, and techniques in one place. He especially enjoyed the hands-on activities and interactive sessions because it allowed him to further sharpen his skills.
